Cedar Lakes Townhomes
The townhomes in Cedar Lakes were also in the 90s, and include the Carr at Cedar Lakes, another phase of building.
There is a variety of floorplans to choose from. There is also lots of variety in exterior finishes. Some of the townhomes have garages as well as decks.
The interiors are built 3 level and walk in on the first level. Big open spaces and lots of vaulted ceilings make these desirable options if you are looking around.
The townhomes were built right up against Fair Ridge 429, another popular townhome community in the area.
Cedar Lakes Condos
The original Cedar Lakes Condos were built in the early 1990s. The condos are garden style with 4 floors. Cedar Lakes II was built in the later 90s with a similar style.
These condos have open floor plans, kitchens with open breakfast bars, and nice open entertaining areas.
On the top level units you will find models with a loft, giving some extra space for an office or tv room.
Christopher at Cedar Lakes was completed in 2000. It has a similar look and garden style. They also feature 1 car garages and extra storage rooms.
If you are looking for condos with an elevator, some of the buildings at Christopher at Cedar Lakes have an elevator. They are one of the only ones in the Fair Lakes area with an elevator.

Cedar Lakes Community
Cedar Lakes has an active HOA. They maintain an outdoor pool for the residents and also a fitness center.
Perhaps the most attractive feature of Cedar Lakes is the location within Fair Lakes. This area of West Fairfax is absolutely packed with amenities and things to do.
A short drive from this neighborhood is Fairfax Towne Center, Fairfax Corner, and Penderbrook. Also closeby is Fair Oaks Mall and the greatest Whole Foods ever constructed (I personally gave that award).
This area is very accessible to route 66 from 2 exits. You can also head north/south on Fairfax County Parkway.
The community has access to multiple parks nearby and manmade ponds.
There is a nice loop to walk around the neighborhood as well, so if you walk or run you will not need to go far.
