The Fairfax Courthouse Square townhomes in Northern VA have two distinct sections.
Appropriately named “old” and “new” Courthouse square. See above for townhomes for sale in this area.
This particular information is about the old or original section, built in the 1970s. If you have questions about the new section feel free to contact me. If you are searching for Fairfax VA townhomes as a whole check out my guide.
Finding A Townhome In Courthouse
Some neighborhoods have a huge amount of homes, and thus large “turnover” or homes being sold each year.
Courthouse square in Fairfax VA is the exact opposite. Only a few sales occur per year, on average. On a very busy year, 7-8 and on a not so busy year only 1-2.
Because of this low inventory, prices tend to go up because of good old supply and demand.
The location is also great. Tucked back right off of the Old town Fairfax City district, that was revitalized in the early 2000s, and continues to add improvements.
If you are looking to buy one of these townhomes, it will take some extra work and patience.
If you want some ideas about how to find one for sale before it comes up on the websites, I can help.
